The Secure, Resilient and Sustainable Smart Cites Initiative (SSCI) is a trans regional cooperation network and partnership of Baltic, Mediterranean and Central EUropean Cities and Regions. It consists of Core group, European and Global partners networks.
Core Group
The Core Group includes: Living Labs, NGOs, public authorities and their subsidiaries, associations and research academia organisations from the participating EUropean cities and regions that are strategically interested in long term partnership and cooperation on the topics of Secure, Resilient and Sustainable Smart cities, eServices and Open Data.
The Core Group also includes leading EUropean universities and research organisations interested in multidisciplinary research collaboration and in partnership with authorities and enterprises for development of regional priorities, clusters and thematic topics and in establishing trans regional Knowledge Centre for Resilient and Sustainable Smart Cities.
It includes EUropeanenterprises interested to contribute to development of participating cities and regions thematic priories by providing technologies, applications, networks and services and in contributing to development of Federated Virtual Living Labs and Test Bed platform together with Universities and Living Labs.
The SSCI core group is aiming to establish self-funded registered entity for trans regionalKnowledge Centre and Federated Virtual Living Lab.
Core group members commitment The SSCI Core Group participants are expected to participate in the group discussions (telcos, meeting) in the first phase of SSCI development when the commitments, roles ,contributions of organizations participating in SSCI partnership and legal entity will be discussed and agreed. To be included in the partnership agreement and the statues for new entity to be established in the second phase.

Network
The SSCI network includes all types of European organizations interested in Secure, Resilient and Sustainable Smart Cites topic who would like to participate in SSCI conferences, WGs activities and events. Network participants are listed on SSCI mailing list and website. The participation is free of charge
